General Code
A player will…
- Hold themselves to a high standard of sportsmanship on and off the field, without engaging in any unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Treat all teammates, opponents, and officials with respect.
- Follow the rules of the game, and always engage in fair play.
- Respect the opinions and values of their peers to develop a healthy team environment.
- Demonstrate inclusive behavior and encourage diversity while opposing all types of discrimination, including, but not limited to, discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.
- Be respectful when communicating with other players and officials.
A player will not…
- Break policies set forth by Metallist liga SF.
- Verbally, physically, sexually, or emotionally abuse, harass, or haze any peer or referee.
- Use derogatory, discriminatory, or profane language.
- Illegally use or possess drugs, alcohol, and tobacco at games.

2-Safety Policy
The Metallist liga SF league is committed to the safety of all league participants and referees. On Field Disciplinary Action
Warning
The following offenses result in a warning; repeated or blatant offenses result in a yellow or red card:
- Failing to cooperate with a match official e.g. ignoring an instruction/request
- Minor/low-level disagreement (by word or action) with a decision
Yellow Card
Yellow card offenses include (but are not limited to):
- Delaying the restart of play
- Dissent by word or action
- Entering, re-entering or deliberately leaving the field of play without the referee’s permission
- Failing to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a dropped ball, corner kick, free kick or throw-in
- Persistent offenses
- Unsporting behavior
- Verbal aggression
Where two separate cautionable offenses are committed they should result in two yellows, for example if a player enters the field of play without the required permission and commits a reckless tackle or stops a promising attack with a foul/handball, etc.
Red Card
Red card offenses include (but are not limited to):
- Denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by a handball offense (except a goalkeeper within their penalty area)
- Denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender’s goal by an offense punishable by a free kick (unless as outlined below)
- Serious foul play
- Biting or spitting at someone
- Violent conduct
- Repeated verbal aggression
- Receiving a second yellow card in the same match
Serious Foul Play
A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality will be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

Violent Conduct
Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball, or against a team-mate, match official, spectator or any other person, regardless of whether contact is made.
In addition, a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct.

Verbal Aggression
Verbal aggression directed at opponents or at the referee is prohibited. Verbal aggression is characterized as using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or action(s). Any words that may incite someone to violence or to escalate an already tense situation will be treated as verbal aggression.
Consequences for Verbal Aggression

Procedures for Complaints, Investigations and Corrective Action
All Participants are responsible for helping ensure that misconduct is avoided. Metallist liga SF cannot act to eliminate misconduct unless it has notice of the conduct. Participants need to report any concerns within 48 hours of an incident occurring. Please submit all reports via email to the league manager at НАШ АДРЕС ПОЧТА .
3-Harassment Policy
The Metallist liga SF league is committed to the safety of all league participants and referees. We strive to provide a fun and competitive environment in a space where players can feel safe and comfortable to enjoy the beautiful game. All reports of harassment, inappropriate behavior, and violent altercations are taken seriously and will be addressed immediately.
Harassment
1. Harassment consists of unwelcome conduct, whether verbal, physical or visual, that is based upon a person’s protected status. Metallist liga SF will not tolerate harassing conduct that affects any Participant, including conduct that affects player’s safety, or that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
2. Among the types of conduct prohibited by this policy are epithets, slurs, negative stereotyping or intimidating acts based on an individual’s protected status and the circulation or posting of written or graphic materials that show hostility toward an individual because of his or her protected status.
3. Prohibited conduct can also include jokes, kidding, or teasing about another person’s protected status.
Sexual Harassment
1. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, written, or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute sexual harassment. Sexual harassment may involve individuals of the same or different gender.
2. Examples of conduct which may constitute sexual harassment and are prohibited by this Policy include, but are not limited to:
1. unnecessary touching, patting, hugging, pinching, or brushing against a person’s body;
2. staring, ogling, leering, or whistling at a person;
3. continued or repeated verbal abuse of a sexual nature;
4. sexually explicit statements, sexual flirtations, advances, propositions, subtle pressure for sexual activity, comments, questions, jokes, or anecdotes;
5. graphic or degrading comments about a person’s clothing, body or sexual activity;
6. sexually suggestive objects, cartoons, posters, calendars, or pictures;
7. suggestive or obscene letters, notes or invitations;
8. harassing use of electronic mail, electronic or instant messaging, or telephone communication systems; or
9. other physical or verbal conduct of a sexual nature.
Racial, Religious, or National Origin Harassment
Racial, religious, or national origin harassment is expressly prohibited by Metallist liga SF. Racial, religious, or national origin harassment includes any verbal, written, or physical act in which race, religion, or national origin is used or implied in a manner which would make a reasonable person uncomfortable. Examples of race, religious or national origin harassment may include, but are not limited to:
* jokes, which include reference to race, religion, or national origin;
* the display or use of objects or pictures which adversely reflect on a person’s race, religion, or national origin; or use of pejorative or demeaning language regarding a person’s race, religion, or national origin.

Sexual Abuse
Any sexual abuse is prohibited. This includes sexual contact that is accomplished by deception, manipulation, force or threat of force, regardless of the age of the participants.
Sexual Misconduct
Any sexual interaction between a player and an individual with evaluative, direct or indirect authority is prohibited. Such relationships involve an imbalance of power and are likely to impair judgment or be exploitative. This section does not apply to a pre-existing relationship between two spouses or life partners.
Emotional Misconduct
Emotional misconduct in all forms is prohibited. Emotional misconduct is a pattern of deliberate, non-contact behavior that has the potential to cause emotional or psychological harm to another person. Non-contact behaviors include verbal acts, physical acts, or acts that deny attention or support; or any act or conduct described as emotional abuse or misconduct under federal or state law.
Bullying
Intentional, persistent and repeated pattern of committing or willfully tolerating physical and non-physical behaviors that are intended, or have the reasonable potential to cause fear, humiliation or physical harm in an attempt to socially exclude, diminish or isolate the targeted player(s), as a condition of membership are prohibited. Bullying does not include group or team behaviors that (a) are meant to establish normative team behaviors, or (b) promote team cohesion.
Hazing
Coercing, requiring, forcing or willfully tolerating any humiliating, unwelcome or dangerous activity that serves as a condition for (a) joining a group or (b) being socially accepted by a group’s members are prohibited. Hazing does not include group or team activities that (y) are meant to establish normative team behaviors or (z) promote team cohesion.

5-Forfeits & Refunds Policy
In an effort to protect all league teams, Metallist liga SF will strictly enforce the below policies with regards to forfeits, cancellations, registration and refunds.
1. There are NO rescheduling of games after 48 hours of the match schedule being posted.
2. If you are forfeited on twice in one season, you will have one of the matches made up, so you will always have at least 8 of your 9 matches prior to playoffs.
3. If you forfeit more than once you are ineligible for playoffs.
4. If you forfeit a game with a no call/no show or call to forfeit after 5pm on the same night as your game, you will be ineligible for playoffs, even if it is only once.
5. Forfeits must be communicated as early as possible to the League General Manager so that opponents and referees can be informed. Teams have until 5:00pm, the night of their game, to contact the League General Manager by phone and/or email or metallistliga@gmail.com if they will be forfeiting.
6. Reminder: You can register your team for a season many weeks prior to the start of first game, however if you decided to wait until the week before the first game, there is no-refund on any registration paid within 10 days of the first match. Email notification to Metallist liga SF must be made 10 days before the start of the first game. If not done 10 days before there will be no refund issued.
7. All team fees must be paid by the first game, or your team will be removed from the schedule.
Waiver of Liability
Warning: Metallist liga SF Please have your team members apply online or arrive early to your first game to complete.
While Metallist liga SF encourages and promotes Fair Play and Safety, participation in our League can cause injuries and you must play at your own risk.
