Mini-Football Tournament “Metallist Liga SF”: Time to Score Goals!

Hello, dear friends and football enthusiasts! A special greeting to all fans of mini-football 5-a-side! We are the organizers of the “Metallist Liga SF” tournament, and we are ready to promote this exciting sport in San Francisco.
We invite everyone, regardless of skill level, to join our league and be part of something amazing!

Our first tournament, “Metallist Liga,” took place on May 25, 2023, at Spark Social in San Francisco. We have actively participated in various tournaments in this beautiful city and decided it was time to create our own outdoor event.
Organizing the tournament turned out to be a challenging task: we needed to find the perfect field, arrange prizes, hire referees, and, of course, gather teams. But thanks to teamwork and the support of all participants, we made it happen!

Five teams participated in the tournament, and each team played four matches in a round-robin format. The games followed standard mini-football rules, with each half lasting 15 minutes and a 5-minute break.

These teams have faced each other in other tournaments, and we were excited to see who would emerge as the winner of the “Metallist Liga.” The tournament kicked off at noon with a friendly atmosphere where all players were happy to reunite and meet new friends.
Let the Games Begin! Familiarization with the rules and the draw went smoothly, and the teams spread out across the fields. The participants fought on the field like true athletes, and we recognized the best: goalkeeper, defender, top scorer, and player of the tournament.

The first and second rounds were particularly exciting, with high emotions and fierce competition on the field. “Fine Bays” looked strong, but “Uzbek” stayed close behind. “Kyrgyz” also showed promise, though they fell short. “Metallist SF” and “Black Sea” fought hard but struggled to find their rhythm.

Tournament Results

At the end of all matches, the winner was “UZBEK,” who earned the most points. “Fine Bays” secured second place, while “Kyrgyz Team” took third. “Black Sea” snatched fourth place with a victory over “Metallist SF,” who, despite finishing last, showcased a promising performance.

All teams received awards, trophies, and t-shirts with the “Metallist Liga” logo. The top players were presented with separate trophies.
By the end of the tournament, all teams left satisfied, and we are already gearing up for the next events! Next year, we plan to increase the number of participants and introduce new match formats to make the game even more exciting. We also want to attract more spectators and create an atmosphere of a true football celebration.
