Mini-Football Tournament “Metallist Liga SF”: Time to Score Goals!
A warm greeting to all fans of 5-a-side mini-football! We are the organizers of the “Metallist Liga SF” tournament, and we’re excited to continue promoting this dynamic and inclusive sport here in San Francisco.
On April 5, 2025, we successfully held our second tournament at 701 Mission Bay N, San Francisco, CA 94158. The energy, the passion, and the spirit of the game were truly unforgettable!
After our first event on May 25, 2023, we were inspired to keep building this community. This second tournament brought together even more teams, players, and fans, proving that the love for football in San Francisco is alive and growing.
Seven teams participated in the tournament, and each team played four matches in a round-robin format. The games followed standard mini-football rules, with each half lasting 15 minutes and a 5-minute break.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or just love the game, we invite everyone to join our league and be a part of this incredible journey.

At the end of all matches, the winner was “FC UZBEX,” who earned the most points. “KYRGYZ TEAM” secured second place, while “team Shreki” took third.

All participating teams received awards, trophies, and exclusive t-shirts featuring the “Metallist Liga” logo. The top-performing players were also honored with individual trophies for their outstanding contributions on the field.
By the end of the day, every team walked away satisfied and energized — and so did we!
We’re already preparing for upcoming tournaments and have big plans for the year ahead. We aim to increase the number of participating teams, introduce new match formats, and make each event even more competitive and entertaining. Our goal is to grow the league and create a true football celebration atmosphere in San Francisco.
