Futsal Rules
1. The game is played on an outdoor artificial turf field. Field dimensions: 25 meters (width) × 45 meters (length). Goal dimensions: 2 meters (height) × 3 meters (width).
2. Match format:
- 5v5 (4 outfield players + 1 goalkeeper).
- Two halves of 15 minutes each.
- 5-minute halftime break.
3. Ball size: 4.
4. Unlimited substitutions.
5. When the ball goes out of bounds (out), it must be placed directly on the line. Players have 4 seconds to restart play. If the ball is not put into play in time, possession is given to the opposing team.
6. When the ball goes out over the goal line (not a goal), the goalkeeper must restart play with their hands. The goalkeeper has 4 seconds to do so. If they exceed this time, possession is given to the opposing team.
7. For a throw-in, free kick, or corner kick, the opposing players must stay 5 meters away from the ball. The player taking the kick must ask the referee for the 5-meter distance.
8. Substitutions must take place in the designated substitution zone. A player entering the field must wait until the substituted player has completely left the pitch.
9. A goalkeeper cannot receive a pass from their teammate unless:
- The ball has crossed the halfway line, or
- An opponent has touched the ball.
10. Cards:
- First yellow card = warning.
- Second yellow card = automatic red card. The team plays with one fewer player for 2 minutes.
11. Fouls:
- Each foul is counted.
- If a team commits five fouls, the sixth foul results in a 10-meter penalty kick.
- Every additional foul (6th, 7th, 8th, etc.) also results in a 10-meter penalty kick.
- Fouls reset at the end of each half.
12. Tournament level: Amateur.
13. Tournament format: Group stage + Playoffs.
Tournament Participation Rules
1. Equipment
- It is recommended to wear a team uniform or a jersey with a number on the back.
- Training bibs (with numbers) are also allowed.
- The goalkeeper must wear a color that differs from both their teammates and opponents.
- If a player doesn’t have a uniform, bibs in different colors will be provided.
2. Footwear and Protection
- Only football boots or turf shoes with small studs are allowed.
- Shin guards are mandatory.
- Prohibited: Boots with metal studs or six-stud configurations.
3. Team Registration and Player Rules
- The team captain must complete the registration form before the tournament starts.
- The form must include:
- Player’s full name.
- Jersey number (which must remain the same throughout the tournament).
- Players must play with the same number they were registered under (for tracking goals and cards).
- Players are not allowed to switch teams during the tournament.
4. Behavior and Discipline
- The main goal of the tournament is to enjoy the game and have a great time.
- Strictly prohibited:
- Consuming alcohol.
- Smoking on the sports field.
- Leaving trash behind.
